PRODUCT VISION
Sponsor–CRO collaboration without fragmented systems.
Bring study plans, deliverables, documents, decisions, oversight, and partner activity into one governed workspace—while maintaining organizational boundaries and continuous sponsor control.
REPLACE FRAGMENTED COLLABORATION
Sponsor–CRO collaboration is often distributed across email, spreadsheets, presentations, shared drives, file-transfer services, separate dashboards, and vendor-controlled systems.
SURAI’s product vision is a shared operating layer where authorized participants collaborate around the work itself—not around copies exchanged between disconnected tools.
Sponsor • CRO • Partners
Shared collaboration does not mean unrestricted access. The intended model combines common operational information with explicit organizational boundaries and clear sponsor and partner responsibilities.
Connect milestones, deliverables, responsibilities, dates, acceptance criteria, dependencies, reviews, and supporting evidence.
Keep discussions, decisions, requests, actions, document exchanges, reviews, approvals, and their history attached to the relevant work.
Provide sponsor and CRO perspectives on milestones, timeliness, risks, issues, readiness, service performance, and follow-up.
Ask SURAI could summarize activity, identify missing information, explain dependencies, draft narratives, and propose updates without replacing authorized decisions.
Retain records, documents, decisions, evidence, and history in context as partner access changes through the study lifecycle.
When a CRO or partner engagement ends, the sponsor can retain control of the SURAI environment while partner access is revised or closed. Connected R&D records, documents, evidence, decisions, workflows, and history remain intact—reducing the need for a separate system takeover, reconstruction of operational context, or migration of fragmented information.

FOR SPONSORS
FOR CROS AND PARTNERS
CONTINUOUS SPONSOR CUSTODY
Instead of waiting until closeout to collect, reconcile, classify, and transfer fragments from multiple systems, the intended model allows the governed study record to accumulate in context throughout execution.
Establish the governed study workspace.
Allow CROs and partners to work within authorized boundaries.
Accumulate records, documents, decisions, and evidence in context.
Maintain sponsor oversight throughout execution.
Close partner access according to policy while retaining the study history.
CONTINUED PLATFORM OPERATION
Where SURAI is established as the shared sponsor-controlled environment, the sponsor can continue operating the platform after CRO or partner participation ends. The connected R&D information and its operational context remain together without requiring a replacement platform solely because the engagement has concluded.
Close or revise partner access while preserving authorized sponsor access.
Retain connected records, documents, relationships, decisions, evidence, workflows, and audit history.
Continue sponsor operations in the same governed environment.
Reduce separate system-takeover, reconstruction, and migration activities.
Apply the agreed retention, archival, integration, and ongoing-support model.
Transition considerations: Continued operation depends on deployment ownership, contractual arrangements, data rights, configured integrations, retention requirements, and the capabilities included in the agreed implementation.
Product vision: This page describes an intended operating model. It does not imply that the complete Partner Collaboration capability is currently implemented, validated, or available for production use. Scope, organizational boundaries, integrations, and controls would require customer-specific definition and validation.
